Se anunciaron hoy las nominaciones a la 94° entrega anual de los Premios Oscar: la Academia de Artes y Ciencias Cinematográficas realizará este 27 de marzo la ceremonia de entrega de estos galardones que premian a lo mejor de la industria del cine. Se realizarán por segunda vez en contexto de pandemia.

Este año las nominaciones fueron anunciadas por Tracee Ellis Ross y Leslie Jordan: en esta nueva edición la ceremonia buscará recuperar su atractivo luego de los cambios que la pandemia instauró a la fuerza, y una recuperación para los cines aún en desarrollo. Por otro lado, se buscará mejorar las audiencias televisivas de años anteriores, ya que la televisación de la edición pasada (realizada sin público en el Teatro Dolby) tuvo un mínimo histórico de 9,85 millones de espectadores.
Aunque no se han dado detalles acerca del espectáculo, si se supo que habrá un presentador por primera vez desde la ceremonia de 2018.
